Hey another serious newbie here. Was wondering if anybody could recommend some good books or periodicals that had helped them get started? Basics is what I'm looking for. Definitions of terms and usages of different equipment etc.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. I am sure if you do a search on the net you can find beginners terms etc. Try guitar resources for one.

Thanks for the tip DragonWorks looks like a very cool site. I'm trying to put together a small home studio and was hoping to get some toilet material to help with equipment purchases, techniques and the such.

P.S. congrats on leaving the rehab, gotta get back on the horse man, don't be a quitter ;)

This looks perfect. I think I could find anything I would ever want to know hate to read from monitor though. Guess I'll give the printer a work out. Have I mentioned this board is great. Thanks for all your help.
