Can anyoneplease help me i have just purchased a Cd burner and I want to record some of the tracks from mycds, vinyls etc, asi am apart-time DJ. When I copy the burnt CD indicates theyare in a sonique format and i cannot playthem onaudio equipment can anyone tell me where i am going wrong. My email is graffiti@topend.com.au

I'm not sure what 'sonique' format is ... but it sounds to me like you haven't finalized the disc yet. By 'finalize' I mean written a table of contents to the disc. The audio is there, but without a TOC, a CD player can't play it because it can't find a track to start with. That's my guess, anyway.

Isn't sonique mp3 software? Maybe that is your problem, you are using software that is made to rip and encode mp3's. Just a quess.

You need to close the CD burn session to write a TOC. Closing the session is usually one of the options you get when you hit the 'create CD' button

I think the TOC is actually the first things that is written. At least when I do it , that's how it works. Even if you don't cloe the cd, or if there is an error, it will still play that way.

anyway, what software are you using? Easy CD creator 4 is great for burning mp3's and stuff off your hard drive. I think youre using the wrong software,
