Hi,

I am new to home recording and have the following setup: PIII with Gina 24 and a Behringer Eurorack MX 602A. My question is (possibly a stupid question) when I have my Bass running into the 602A and out into the Gina 24, can I have then (at the same time) have the sound running out from the Gina 24 back into the 602A (so I can monitor my multitrack recording...for example adding bass to a Fruity Loops drum track). I would like to monitor the output on the 602 A because the headphone jack on the Gina is mono and sounds crappy.

Thanks for any input

Yes, but why?
Are you sure that the headpnone OUTPUT (on the Gina) is MONO? That doesn't make sense.

But to answer your question. Yes, you could run the OUT of the soundcard into the the 602A, as well as, your bass into the 602A.
Then you could monitor both from the board.

You might want to invest in some monitors. ;)

Help...

Yes, I actually emailed Echo tech support and they said that it is, in fact, mono! I was a little annoyed, to say the least...anyways, thanks for the info.
