hey everyone, im new and needing some help..

i have a
1 x vestax pcv 175 mixer

2 x vestax pdx2000 decks

and m-audio audiophile sound card

now, which is the best way to link it all up so i record mixes from turntables, use to the turntables as a source on live 5 etc and have all the sound coming out a pioneer stereo??

HELP!!

thanks in advance, aaron

You really dont have any choice other than to connect the stereo out from the mixer to the line in on your soundcard.

its an maudio audiophile 2496 if it makes any difference?

Yeah that will work, just get some spliter cables and run one set from your mixer to the computer and the other set to your stereo.

You should not need them, the audiophile has a thru feature so the ins get sent to the outs

thanks for the help..

could any one do a drawing with all wires.. im really confused?

Mixer stereo out to stereo in on sound card

Soundcard stereo out to amplifier

In the soundcard control panel, make sure stereo in is routed to stereo out

i cant adjust the sound from the computer using my mixer now? the way i had it before was

decks into mixer

main out went to stereo

rec out went to line input on soundcard then output went back to mixer main out then went to stereo.. but this caused lots of feedback.. but i coud control pc on channel 3 on the mixer??
