Help with Tascam CD burner

I have a Tascam 4x12 CD burner with Adaptec software. I don't think its set up right.

During test to CD everything was ok but when it went to write I got a "check media" dialog box. Punched retry same thing/ switched CD's, same so I cancelled and saved the session. I then went to file/createCD and I got a dialog box that said "recorder not available. I know the computer was talking to the burner because everytime I punched retry the burner would reinsert the CD. What am I doing wrong? Is there another site devoted more to these CD burning questions?

Well maybe nobody posted because it was such a stupid question. It was that I was using consumer CD's instead of Pro. The software wasn't able to read. Just burned my first and it turned out great!
