help with spdif hookup

I feel stupid for asking this but i really need to know.

I have spdif connex on my mpc in and out, tascam in and out, cpu in and out, and pre amp out

basically can i run all of these at once how would i set it up do i need a special box for this help me out cuz im stooopid when it comes to these digital connections.

You need a digital patchbay if you want to connect all those together (at various points) and maintain flexible routing between all the S/PDIF devices.....
