alright well heres the deal
I just bought a sm57 and two MXL 603s's as overheads
I have tryed a lot of placement in my room but they always have to be at like 1 or 2 volume
well that is kinda expected I suppose since they are condenser mics
but the real problem is the fact that whenever I have them at regular EQ with just everything even I get this aweful noise with the cymbles and a little with the snare
so I end up turning the treble down a little but then it sorta seems to sound all compressed and led zepish (which is not always a bad thing)
I need some help cause I have these really nice mics but I'm kinda frusterated at how they can sound so shitty
