I just purchased a Behringer Eurodesk MX3282a mixer intending to use it in a live situation. However, I have seen that it is also marketed as a studio mixer. I'm very interested.....I have Cubase 5, Pro Tools|HD, and Cakewalk's SONAR. I mostly use Pro Tools|HD and Cubase, and I have a 16-channel audio interface. Is there a way that I can take each of the channels going into my Eurodesk and individually patch them through my interface so they record on different channels in Pro Tools or Cubase? Thanks!

I don't know if the desk has direct-outs on each channel, but that would be the first thing to look for. You can grab 16 of these direct outs and send them to your interface.

Alternatively, I note that it has eight sub-groups and eight aux sends. There's sixteen ways of getting stuff from the desk into the interface.

Thanks, man. I really appreciate the help. It does have i/o for each of the busses, so I'll just assign 2 channels to each bus (recording in stereo). Thanks again!
