i am new at producing and i went out and got some equipment but i cant seem to get it working properly i need a step by step guide by a pro porducer or a pro engineer or anyone that has a clue of what they are doing. My equipment consist of:
1) Black Intel MacBook
2) Mbox 2
3) Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro Mixer
4) MPC 2000XL
5) Roland XP-30 Piano
6) Motif Rack
7) Novation Rack
8) Furman Power Conditioner
9) Turntable
10) 2 Event Monitors
11) 10 Monster balanced cables
12) 6 MIDI cables
13) 2 Monitor Speakers
14) 1 s/pdif cable
i have it hooked up right now but obviously i did something wrong because im not hearing anything come out of the speakers. i dont know what i have to click once or twice or what goes where. i just know that my MIDI cables are OK because i can see my MIDI thru my MPC. so if anyone can help i'll really appreciate it.
