HELP! Tascam DP02cf wont playback!

Ive been posting about the tascam dp02cf i was about to purchase for a few days now. well, i picked it up, and as soon as i got on the train to go record with my buddy, i opened it up and plugged in my laptop to record some drum tracks i arranged. I can hear it as its playing, ive assigned it track 1 and armed it, hit record...and everything seems fine. the meters are showing its recieving signal, but when i play it back... nothing. Its not muted and the headphone level is turned up. im wicked frustrate right now, and ready to throw a fit..

I solved my dilemma allllll byyyy myyyy self! =0P

well, all i did was format the flash card, and as soon as I did that, it worked fine!

Good deal man. That's another one of those little "gotchas" that will bite you in the butt if you aren't paying attention.
