you will not be able to diagnose unless you have a replacement display card and memory module.
Once you get them (you can take off a friend's PC - but note the memory type should be same as the one you got) replace them with the ones you got and check if it still freezes.
An impropered cooled CPU would generally give you Error Exceptions, suppose you haven't got any, this is either the display card or memory.
