I have multiple .wav samples wanting to record into one track.

Simply, how?

I have been using sound forge and audacity to try and edit, still only learning, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

tutorials or advice?

I cant work it out for the life of me

cheers,

IN INTERNAL MIX MODE:

Line the samples up on a few tracks they way you want them to play back.

When it sounds the way you want, pan all tracks to the right and click "FROM."

Click "TO" on track 8.

Hit play and listen for any level adjustments you need to make on the sample tracks.

When satisfied hit the record button and it will record all the tracks to track 8.

mjward, tell us exactly what you are trying to accomplish. :)

sounds like he just needs to do a final mixdown. Im not familiar with any of those programs, but if someone could tell him how to mixdown to a stereo track i think that would solve it.
