Yo wzgood? First of all im Curtis (CD) Davis Ive been doin this about a year you can peep some pretty old material at www.myspace.com/cdofssl , But i havent really been dropping much lattely because i dont like the quality of it , keeps sounding bad to me,

But ima post a link to a trck im workin on called go on unedited un mixed and stuff, and want to see if yall can help me get it sounding right, i mean just anything you hear thats wrong , i use cool edit pro and thign you can think of to make it sound better you know, also looking for a male singer because i cant sing well but if to far away i will prob just leave my vocals not being cocky just want ot be able to perform know what im mean , and most of my songs are internet collabos at this point and i cant use the mlive really,

I use a mxl 990 and alesis usb mixer if that helps

two tips: try to use even half ass decent puncuation. post in the mp3 clinic thread for advice on improving your recordings.
 
The second suggestion's best. This is a question for the mixing forum, not the Cool Edit forum. When you know what the mix needs, you'll learn how to do it in Cool Edit really quickly. That's why I transferring this thread to the mixing forum.
 
wtf is wrong with you fags, dude im like 16 and im not going to sit here and proofread everything i type, this is a forum thats supposed to be a portal for recieveing and sharing information on well home recording right ? Not a resume or an essay... get a life and stop being fags because i dont have my punction right and acually give some advice or try to help me out dam.. these forums have been of no help to me people on here just are not down to earth i guess thier in there own lil critise peoples typeing in wich has no refrence to thier question world... inidiegrind forums are much better

I think what happened is that people took offense to the way you came across. If you take a look around this board, you will notice that we don't talk or type like we are texting our boys or our girlfriend. We try not to come across as ignorant and illiterate if we can help it. We don't purposely misspell words or use abbreviations when they aren't necessary. It's not that we are a bunch of dickheads. We will help if you ask. It's all in the way you approach it.
