I'm gonna stick to words and just hope everybody gets it.
It's like the word "dude"
It always made me shudder..so I just never used it..
And "diss"...brrrrrrr !
I have actually said that a few times and castigated myself thouroughly afterwards !
The English language is getting beaten pretty badly these days...
I'm gonna use 'er as much as I can before she disappears under a sea of slang and non sequitors !

If words like "dude" and "diss" and "mofo" show the language to be "growing"..

I think adults sound silly when they talk like children
I think they look silly when they dress like children
I'm glad I'm not young anymore..
It's too much work trying to "keep up"

Coasting suits me fine....
Besides...looking at young peoples butts is usually alot more entertaining than listening to them talk !

Certainly the language is evolving..
So is music...
The difference is that music is(in my opinion) growing, and language is shrinking.
Kids today play better than we ever thought of..
But the lyrics are just lousy most of the time.
Electronics and computers have opened up great new capabilities
for musicians....while lyrics sink deeper and deeper into a blur of mindless drivel !

The songs were recorded in a variety of ways...
Some of it was 16 track analog..some 8 track analog..and the newer cuts were done on a Roland VS880....
The drums and keyboards were all sequenced as well as most of the bass parts.
The sounds are Korg and the drums are an Alesis SR 16
I played all the guitars and sang all the vocals..
There are a few cuts that feature a couple of the ladies that work in my band.
The sequencing was all done on an Alesis MMt8.
I had a terrible fire that took my studio and equipment...
We were uninsured and the financial loss was horrific.
All of the keyboards and modules and outboard gear that made these recordings is gone as well as the board and 16 track.
When I started recording again I got the roland and a couple of cheap modules and off I went.
My mmt8 just died and that's why I'm forcing myself to learn Cakewalk.
