Help Me Please!!!!!!!

alright, i am having trouble connecting my monitors to my MBOX... i want to connect them digitaly using the S/P DIF inputs provided on mbox, my monitors also have S/P DIF inputs (EDIROL-MA10D)... Mbox has a input and a output for the S/P DIF, and it says to connect the output on MBOX to the Input on the Monitors and the Output on the monitors to Mbox... small problem my monitors only have a coaxile input and no output, and basicily i cant get it to work and im real sad becuase i need them to work through the S/P DIF so that way i can plug head phones in MBox for the musician while i monitor using the speakers... Please help me
 
Have you tried firing them up? Unless I'm crazy I can't think why you would have to run a line out from the monitors back to the MBox.
 
Yeah you don't need to do that. Where you are reading in the Mbox manual about S/PDIF they are talking about hooking up the Mbox to a CD player or DAT player that would require signal returning to the Mbox. Try just plugging S/PDIF into the monitors, selecting the correct outputs in PT and turning the monitors on. Should work.
 
yup your right it works fine now all i had to do was disconnect that other wire, thanks a bunch to both of you for the help...
