I agree with a lot of what Light said. Guitars and basses need to be set up by someone who knows what they are doing. But keep in mind that he fixed it by putting paper under the string at the nut. Personally I would take it back and let them replace the nut and then set it up properly, because it's new.

read my second reply third one from the top, my times up! when your dealing with a franchise like them they will send it back to the factory and ill be without my bass and shipping for a long time, and the paper under the nuts not a permanit solution i know (i still get buzz but not as bad) it there ONLY until i can get it to a LOCAL shop.
