Im about to buy a new mic for acoustic guitar and vox. Ive basically narrowed it down to the SPB1 of the T.Bone SC450 (i cant go with a mxl990 because im in UK and dont therefore use MF).
Now which to pick!?
Ive heard good things about both, they both fit my price range.
(i know theres the argument for saveing more and get somthing better but i have other stuff to buy and im a student!)
The T.Bone is probably winning right now for it has the bass role off and the
-10db pad.

So.... Which should i got for?
Cheers

I don't know how you narrowed it down... but, I've owed both the 990 and SPB1 and IMO, in general (meaning = on most sound sources) they both suck as vocal mics and aren't much better on acoustic instruments... I came to this conclusion from using the mics and comparing them with other mics I have over a period of time. Sorry, I've never used the T.Bone SC450... so I can't comment about it.

Others here may agree or disagree... but, that's my opinion.
