Help ew kid on the chopping block

hi there im new to fourm use and recording so not sure if this is posted in correct place.
my problem is i have a tascam dpo2 for about a month now and i seem to have worked most things out as i bought a tutorial dvd very helpfull to this point.i have recorded mixed and mastered and made a cd but the volume levels on cd vairy they are up and down not consistant . i was wondering if anyone can give me a few tips to re master or remix and have same volume on all mastered tracks thank you

Well, you have to understand in no way did you master it if your asking how to get the volumes even. that is defiantly part of mastering.


the best advice i can give you is find your "best" volume track you like and reference the others from that song.

other then that you just going have to train your ears over the years
