I am so new to this, I hope I didn't ask a stupid question
Has anyone read my thread?
I am having problems because I don't know what I am doing.
Can anyone give me a couple pointers. Thanks Magic
When I record it sounds fine, I keep it out of the red.
When I go edit to apply effects and mix it, the levels go up
into the red. When I pull the master volume back I can't hear
the song. What could I be doing wrong?
 
Yeah, please tell us what sw you are using and effects and most importantly how... if you're using the effects by pulling the gain up, well the signal will magnify and it'll start clipping.

I am using the effect tabs above each track on quitar tracks 2
there are several in the drop down menu, I used reverb and eq by clicking the tabs above each track. ALso there is a tab on the
master volume and I clicked both those effects on it as well.
I that what you needed to know?

What do you mean by sw. My sound card
is riptide it came on this comuter. Hey my brother in law lives
in Herredia. Where are you in Costa Rica. His name is Max Perera
