Hi all, I just got out the headphones and connected them to Out 1 of my headphone amp. I ran a 1/4 inch stereo cable (male to male) from an Output on the M-audio's interface to the Stereo input of the amp. I did not hear a thing.

So I thought maybe I should use a 1/4 inch stereo male to 2 1/4 inch monos. Did that, and I only hear something when I enable Bass Management on the M-audio's control panel - BUT it is just a muddled mess, AND it's only in mono!!! Can someone please offer any assistance with this matter? Thanks!

Start by checking in your delta control panel to which outputs the signal is being sent and put the two mono 1/4'' (good thinking, all outputs are mono) in those outputs.
When bass management is enabled, the signal for the subwoofer is sent to a third output. (On my Delta 410 to output 4..).

try instead connecting that cord to the mono balanced input of your headphone amplifier, and a second cable from out 2 on the 1010 to the other line in on the headphone amp. If your headphone amp has only unbalanced left and right inputs, then ditch the TRS cables and try two standard instrument type cables, (tip sleve only) The 1010 out will work either balanced or unbalanced.

This is because the 1010's outs are all mono, balanced/unbalanced, not stereo. you need to hook up the way I described.

BTW what Head Amp do you have? I have the Behringer HA4700, which I love, and the delta 1010.
My 1010 is hooked up to a mixer, each output to its own channel on the mixer, and the HA4700 is hooked up to the mixer through the headphone output of the mixer, split to two 1/4" TS plugs, unbalanced to the left/right inputs of the HA4700.

Well anyway. . .

Thanks for the suggestions! I now have sound through the cans!
