I am in the process of recording our band, and would like for each band member to have there own monitor mix via headphones, I have two 1604's one for the inputs for (instruments) and the direct outputs of the mackie to a Delta 1010. I use a second 1604 for monitoring out of the delta 1010. I use the aux outputs of the second mackie for headphone monitoring, the problem I am having is when the bass player wanted more of the mixed drums in his headphones, he would also get more of his bass.
Could someone explain to me the proper way to use my aux out for a headphone mix?

Thanks

It is really hard to control every output mix in each channels you have, I would recommend a headphone amp like the "Power Play Pro HA4600" - http://www.music123.com/Item/?itemno=66313
Costs around 100, but you can get it for less that $50 in ebay. You will get 4 headphone outputs and aux inputs. Hope that will solve your band members feedback problems.

If you get the HA4600, which i have and like it, use the aux outputs from your first 1604 to send levels to each of the 4 inputs. So you can have up to four headphone mixes, which is pretty good. Each headphone amp powers up to 3 or 4 headphones. That should work for you.
