Headphone amp

I'm doing some recordings in the next couple of weeks of my girlfriend playing drums for some drum covers (and I think we are going to start recording drums etc properly when I get a larger interface/desk)

My current interface is an Edirol FA-66, and has one headphone output on it. We will both be in the same room so I will need to buy a headphone amp so she can hear the track and herself, and I can monitor.

I'm looking for something small, only 4 stereo outs, but the only problem is that I can really afford over £50.

I have used the Art Headamp IV at college numerous times, but not for monitoring, only for playback. These do the job perfectly, but how are they for monitoring? I'm sure they are fine but obviously there must be cons on this amp (as there are on everything!)

I've been looking at the Behringer HA-400. Really cheap (under £20) but I have read mixed reviews. Some say its great and others say the power supply keeps falling out, and they don't seem to last very long.

The Millenium HA4 is a good price (around £20) but it is good quality for the price?

and lastly, the Millenium HP4. I like this because the can be rack mounted (although I did say I wanted something small, this will encourage me to save up for rack gear/patchbay after I get my new desk) but I haven't found many reviews online. These are a within my price range too.

I had the links but I have not posted enough to put links up, so google them if you want to have a look.

If anyone can give me a heads up on any of these, or let me know of any other good amps that'd be awesome cheers

I have one of these, can't fault it in any way.

If its only temporary use you can always use a home amplifier or similar with a splitter, they tend to have a hot headphone output ;)

i have a behringer headphones amp (HA4800) tbh the outputs not massive and its a bit noisy. which might be acceptable for monitoring.
I'd save up and get something more powerful especially for recording drums the last thing you want is you can hear the drums in the room too much rather than the monitor phones.
just my two pence.
although last time we recorded a drummer he used in ear phones (his stage ones)

i use a Behringer HA4700 which has worked flawlessly...bit above your price range but not by much i think

I own HP4. Got it because I hadn't got much money, but needed headphone amp. So far I'm pretty happy with it - it's a bit noisy when you turn it over 3/4, but this rarely happens (usually only with drummers :)). Knobs are a bit flimsy and lately they have started to introduce a bit crackling (about 3 years old unit I think, bought it as new). Once lost right channel on one of the amp channels, opened it and saw that a connector was loose (may have been happened by transporting), that was a easy fix.
Hmm, what else.. Line outs in the front are nice touch, but deadly when you plug your headphones accidentally in (happened to me once). Power LED is as powerful as flashlight. :D
In conclusion there's plenty of amp for 20£, really. ;)
