People are no damned good
My wife is interested in getting me a head worn mic--not wireless--for live gigs. I've looked at a couple, Shure WH30XLR, Audio Technica ATM75, AKG C 520, Rode HS1, though I haven't tried any.
I usually use a Shure SM58 for vocals. As the name implies, I'm an acoustic player, though I do plug in the guitars (and dulcimer and banjo, though not the autoharp.) I don't Dylan out with a harmonica (for which audiences should be truly grateful.)
Anyone have any comments, other suggestions, advice? Not the kind of thing you can return easily (for health reasons), I would imagine and price is an object. The Rode at $299 is more than I really want to shell out, but doable.
