Thanks Tim. I guess it seemd like a step up because I find the arpeggios to be much harder to play. I like the first clip much better myself too. Okay....more of that tonight! :D
 
metalhead28 - that was excellent.. even though it may have seemed like it was slower it was almost sicker than the first clip and I can definitely appreciate what you were playing.. the sound was way better too but the first one seemed like more of an immediate decapitation.. both are great examples of this threads subject imop.. I would have liked the playing of the first with the sound of the second..





Dogman - Dooooogmang! sweet tune! flesh it out and put some vocals on that thing.. your vocals sometimes remind me of Cronos so it'll be interesting hearing your vox over this.. tune that bitch first..

check this out, load metalheads last one and your last one in a playlist so that as soon as his is done it goes right into yours.. it seemed like it made an awesome intro to me..







so where we at? is the competition part of this dead? some people put up 2, and it doesn't bother me if they put up 10 because I like listening to them, let's just try to avoid the clipping shall we.. :D


if the competition part is still on, here's what my thoughts are so far, I'd like to hear what you think..

Farview 'could have' taken this.. mainly because his offering was the one that most efficiently introduced asses to faces, and he only needed 30 seconds to do it.. I say 'could have' because, 1 - old clip, 2 - questionable editing, 3 - he fled the scene..





so, unofficially that leaves Metalhead 28 and David K near the top.. and much props to everyone who partcipated so far..

did anyone else have to look up what the meaning of 'etude' was? :D

Any chance you can put your stuff up on lightningmp3.com, or somewhere similar, for the short term? I'd like to hear it but NowhereRadio isn't cooperating. I just get error messages.

Tim, go to the setting to change your player. I tried to use WMP, and it won't work. I use winamp. It plays through that.
 
ok.. I checked my nowhere page last night and my clip was downloaded well over 60 times, but no one really commented on it (in public) except Dogman and mixmkr.. the only other comments were about not being able to download it..

so with that in mind there's no reason for me to post another clip.. I thought my man metalhead28 or our most humble professional David K would have at least posted some comments about my comments last night.. no biggy though! just thought I'd take the direct approach about what I was thinking... I guess the competition part of this is over for me..

I still cannot get anything from Nowhere Radio to play or download. Maybe I need to download winamp or something....

I intended to throw down again last night but I didn't get the time to do it.
Perhaps tonight.

Apparently Mixmkr has declared himself the judge of this thing even though he is entering it himself..... :confused: .... :p

So how do we decide on a winner?

I seem to find that from Nowhere, using winamp will play the tracks, but WMP won't for me, as far as streaming.

I just have to echo the sentiment that this is freaking fantastic. I could sit and click on the "box of wisdom" all day and never get bored.

I thought a good starting point may have been to have everyone who participated (or just listened) to drop some thoughts, like mixmkr and I did,

but it didn't really catch on did it? :D


I guess it's not really possible though if most people can only 'hear' themselves..
