Hmmm.... Interesting that the music that defeated Vai's character in Crossroads (the posted example for this thread) was a composed work (Paganini transcribed from violin to guitar) and not wanking at all. In fact Vai's character's failure in the duel came simply from his attempt to play back the piece verbatim that Macchio's character had played (and memorized long before in many hours of practice) - not a tone issue at all.

Anyway, the best electric tone pales in comparison to a good acoustic guitar or violin tone anyway, so it's an argument without a cause, really. :p :p :p

very cool mixmkr but it's too piercing and right off the bat it's an unpleasant stabbing frequency and then clipping pretty bad.. I would slap a fast remix up..
