Have you ever re coned a speaker?

I have these old jbl towers and I would like to try this before shelling out for new ones. The foam around the cone is totally gone on both as the speakers are from 1974.

Which place online would be best for this?
 
I re-foamed a pair of speakers from a pair of Advent stereo speakers. It did turn out "ok". I do most of my own repairs and feel fairly competent at fixing just about anything - but that's one of those things your either better off letting someone else do or just buy new speakers. Remember, everything else in the speaker is old also.

In the case of the Advents, I was never happy with the bass response afterwards.
