I know AA3 sucks for MIDI and VST`s but I hear it is the superior program for editing. Has anyone made a switch to something they like better over all? If so Which DAW?

I wouldn't call it a switch, but I did use AA a couple years back for a while. After that I tried Reaper and never looked elsewhere.

don't switch.
In reaper options/ preferences/ external editors, specify AA/cool edit as your external editor.
You wouldn't throw away your wrench just because you got a socket set would you?
