I had a guitar tuner I ran on my computer but it no longer with Windows 7. Does have a software based guitar tuner that they use?
 
I meant does anyone have a software based guitar tuner that they use and can recommend?
 
I would just search google for "freeware guitar tuner".. I am sure there are loads..
 
There are several iPhone apps that are pence to purchase. the tc electronic "PolyTune" seems particularly good.
 
Old guitar strings get flattened where they contact the fret wire and become dull sounding and difficult to keep in tune. That's when you really need to change them.
 
fmit in linux. With that whole jackd thing and qjackctl to make the connection. Not exactly easy to set up and fine tune, but it does the job. Given a microphone input chain / DI and all that jazz. And soundcard support.
