Guitar strap color to match Gibson’s cream appointments

You should have read the entire thread before jumping to the conclusion that Monkey Allen has been in any way shape or form been mistreated by anyone here at HR. Had that been the situation, a moderator would have stepped in. Read the entire thread.

I read enough to know comments that troll and try to judge and make fun of someone that is honestly looking for simple answers outside of of a Prime Time thread, where that behaviour is expected.

Strap: $49 shipping and tax, and matches my ‘98 Std appointments beautifully. Soft leather and comfortable as I could wish.

Guess I could’ve bought a $400 strap and slapped it across a $100 Chibson, but I’ve been doing this for awhile and know where I want to spend my money.

Started out as a simple post, took a little turn, ended up with good informative posts including what and where. Everything else to the contrary was just unnecessary. Some constructive, some belligerent. My thread and it ended well.

I play my guitars low and this strap allows.

I don't know how people play with their guitar slung low. That gives me wrist pain! I don't hold it as high as John McNally of the Searchers, but I don't have any belt buckle rash on any of my guitars.

In a (musical) 3 piece where you're tasked with the double duty of playing both rhythm (chords) and lead passages, hanging low can have its advantages. Rather than playing straight bar chords, hanging low it is easier to wrap your thumb over the top of the neck for lower notes, the remainder of your fingers available and in position to either complete the chord or play lead, and/or back and forth. Doesn't necessarily have to be a 3 piece, same applies otherwise. On the other hand, if you prefer to play straight bar chords hanging low can make it somewhat difficult to do so. For me, personally, it must be (neither) high or low. It's alright, it's not too bad.
