Bassman,

I tried hooking the DCC deck up to the computer, but to do it I had to run fifty feet of cable, and people on the site DID coment on the noise level, so I stopped that method.

You did not offend me, we're friends, it's just gear, and you are right about getting better sound.

I will take all your suggestions to heart, and eventually updgrade, this might just be the kick in the butt that I needed.

I will look into Ntrack.

I may have to go with a stand alone recorder, for my studio, and have no clue what to look for.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Bassman,

Noise aside, I am very happy with the tone of this recording, very listenable.

Maybe having two people mixing a song, ain't so bad. I got the sound I wanted, and you got the sound you wanted. Awesome!!

If we ever do it again, I really like this method.

Thanks for going along with me on this one, I know it wasn't the way you would have done it.

No Problem, I really enjoyed playing to it...

And to just let you know what was going though my head before,, you were saying how the VCR was in the same room as your PC and I'm thinking why can't he just move the cables? Answer, cause its not the same one he records to, thats in a different part of the house...So from now on Ill just mind my own bees wax, and just play my bass..lol....

Till next time.....

Bassman,

Don't stop being a perfectionist, music needs as much perfetion as you can muster.

BTW I went to Sam Ash today and looked at the 8, 12, & 16 tracks, I think a 12 track would suite me well, god it would be nice not to have to bounce tracks.

I tried to talk to the salesmen, but it seems like they didn't know much.
