I don't know, I have heard you described as devilishly handsome.

A little too good looking maybe?

Just yankin' yer chain. I know you're really into farm animals. :D

Mesa Boogie for Shreeeddddddddddddin! and.... it has great tone without any distortion

and of course ....Marshall dont leave home without it . a true staple for any musician ...and drummers too...lol

....

Since it's back and I voted, but didn't comment...

Where's Orange and Trainwreck?

It depends on what tone I need. Right now I am using my Marshall more then the others. Some of the amp companies I own are Marshall, Peavey, Hughes & Kettner, Ampeg and Line6. Not one amp does all the sounds I need. :)

Well, I ain't! I can fuck and fight better'n half of you and as good as the rest.

Wow. That's hot. :D  :D

You're cuter than your pic, right???

Another Sovtek

Got my Sovtek mig 60 for $350 brand new 14 years ago & it's never let me down. Hand wired, ceramic tube sockets, kick ass tone, what's not to love? They're getting more expensive these days but value for money wise they're still highly under-rated & under-valued. I'd like to have one of each someday.

So I'll be the third guy to represent the Sovtek secret weapon on this thread.

By far, my favorite amp is the VHT Pitbull Ultra Lead with graphic EQ. It's unbelievably versatile, records well, sounds great live, and provides the best metal tone imaginable, if that's your thing.

Fender Twins are also good for cleans, and Framus makes a solid versatile amp.

Budget: 5150II for heavy stuff.

I voted "other", 'cause I like trashy amps from 50s and 60s. Can't stand those amps that sound right and all. It doesn't let you experiment at all, you get a $2000 worth amp and you're afraid to scratch it, and I'm not even talking about modding it heavily and doing whatever comes to mind. One of my favorites is a late 50s TEISCO. I got rid of all those vintage Rolands, Traynors and Garnets I had before.

You know i voted for Mesa a while back, but i recently played Vox..and decided thats the next amp i want..i'd say vox or orange are amazing. Marshalls...are alright...nothing that i'd freak out over, and with fenders...never really tried a fender all that much, but i'd expect good quality from it, with all the musicians ive seen with fender amps. But I love an AC30...not too distorted on the top boost, just what i want for my band(Rock/Experimental/"Chill/As Tall As Lions Rock")..and an awesome clean

I use a 70' Fender Showman 50wt head (sovtec tubes)with a 64' Standell 2-10 cab (original), have a PV Delta Blues 30wt w/15" speaker cranks when hot, replaced tubes GT pre and Sovtec post and new power transformer...both amps sound good with my 87'PRS Custom24.

Carvins are superior to most other equipment.

Hell, even the monkeys in the zoo know that.

I'm not a fanboy of any particular brand, but I do love Peavey.

But seriously, Trainwreck ftw.

Voted Fender - I have a 56 Pro which I wouldn't sell for anything - but I like Vox quite a lot (have a Beatle & Royal Guardsman) and Mesa is not too bad either. I figure the more amps you have the more tonal colors you have to play with and through. HiWatt is quite good sounding also.

Crate V Series?

LOL :D

I was also curious about that one. I've never played a great Crate. Then again, there may be decent ones out there.

I recently bought a little Crate V16 Palomino after stumbling upon one in a Guitar Center. So far It's held up great but let me tell you, this thing has class A tone out the wazoo! Between it and my old reliable Sovtek Mig 50 and my treasured collection of effects pedals I'm a pretty happy camper. And I probably don't have over $800.00 total invested in my whole rig.

Whoever fuckin' gave me bad rep for liking Peavey fuckin' needs to get a life. Douchebag, ever heard of an opinion? The fuckin' immaturity of that isn't even comrehendable. Grow the fuck up. You're probably just another faggot that only knows solid state.

Edit: Thanks Punkin, appreciate it. I'd rep you back but I don't know how.

Dude, some guy gave me shit for the same reason.

Anyways, I bought a Peavey VK100 head and its blown up on me twice. Yuck. So right now, I have a Crate Powerblock and its working out okay, I guess. Oh yeah, I have a Crate Vintage Club 30 all tube combo thats pretty nice, but needs new tubes REAL BAD.

Not sure what I'm going to go after if I get rid of this VK100. Maybe an Orange.
