I've never played a great Crate.
Then again, there may be decent ones out there.

ericlingus said:hey im looking into buying a cab for my mesa boogie f50 at avatar so I can put just the cab in my closet and be able to control it from my desk. I also won't have to worry about overheating. Does a 1X12" cab sound fine or would a 2X12 be significantly better for recording metal music? Also, what speaker would you recommend? I'm thinking about the vintage30 but is there any others worth checking out? I play black metal btw.
I got a pair of Jensons in my Fender CVR.slidey said:I prefer jensen speakers (especially the alnicao models) to celestion, anybody used them
