...with other mics in its price range. Are there any better for guitar or voice (again, in its price range)?
Also, I have a Royer R-122 ribbon mic and a couple of SM-57's in addition to the GT-55. Since I'm just a "home recordist" I never record with more than 2 mics at a time. Should I keep the GT-55 or sell it and spend the money on something else for my studio? Thank you.

It's a freakin' pallette out there. I mean no disrespect but that's like saying I have a blue crayon, should I get a red one.
Keep the GT (if you like it) and start getting some more colors in your box dude.
 
You need to trade it for an Oktava MK-319 of course. PM me and we'll work it out!

Keep the GT-55, I love mine. It is very close sounding to a MK-319.
I use the GT more than the MK-139.
