If only for a moment.....
That's because you are not a student or observer of the folly, whims and contradictions of human nature.I'm supprized no one mentioned Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott (9 July 1946 – 19 February 1980)

Primarilly because the actual premise is ridiculous. It's like asking "What is the greatest meal of all time ? " or "which is the greatest year of all time ?" !The best thing about threads like this is people aren't objective or reasonable at all.
None of these things have anything to do with how good a singer is. Although they might.Lyricist? Dynamic Range? Belting Attitude?
You measure a singer in the most sensible way possible - irrationally ! You either like a singer or you don't. And you'll have your own reasons for doing so. And they're valid.I just don't know how you would measure a singer without attitude, range, presence and composition.
I genuinely like Ringo Starr's voice when he was with the Beatles. Geoff Emerick says he always strained to keep on pitch. Well at least he tried !! No autotuning for Ringo ! Lennon and McCartney had their own solution - write songs in keys that didn't make him strain and keep the notes few and simple.I must admit, I was impressed by the person who tossed out Ringo.......

Like Iggy pop.The best thing about threads like this is people aren't objective or reasonable at all. They just blurt out the singer of their favorite band.
Like Iggy pop.
