Good Vocal Mic Under $150

im looking for a good vocal mic under $150. preferably closer to $100. any ideas? one of my former teachers told me an original Rode NT 1 is a good cheap mic.

How do you plan to use it? Vocals? Instruments? What kind of music will you be doing? What is the rest of your live or recording chain? A little more info will get more usable suggestions.

IMHO the MXL V67G rules the roost in the low end vocal range. Plenty available on ebay for around $100 US. I've got an original NT-1, and it's a fine mic for some, but the MXL seems more forgiving.

If you're looking for a dynamic try a Heil PR20. I really like how it tracks for vocals
