Hi guys. In the very good dithering thread PG Lewis recommended the dithering guide made by iZotope, the makers of Ozone. I read that and I think it's great, and there is even a version with audio examples. So I recommend that for beginners like me. I also recommend their mastering guide, I also found it very good.
You can check them both at http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/ozoneguide.html
And BTW, in the Mastering guide there is a mention to us:
"We don’t want this to be a hardware guide, but you can check out the forums at http://www.homerecording.com for discussions on monitors, headphones, and lots of other things. This is forum isn’t run by iZotope, but is just a good place to discuss mixing and mastering." (OzoneMasteringGuide.pdf, page 10)
I am proud. Cheers, Andrés
