Good read recommendation (for beginner), and a mention to us!

Hi guys. In the very good dithering thread PG Lewis recommended the dithering guide made by iZotope, the makers of Ozone. I read that and I think it's great, and there is even a version with audio examples. So I recommend that for beginners like me. I also recommend their mastering guide, I also found it very good.

And BTW, in the Mastering guide there is a mention to us:

Actually, pipeline posted the link... but yeah, it's a really good basic dithering guide. Covers the fundamentals of noise-shaping as well.

I still haven't had time to read their mastering doc, but if it's as good as the dithering info I'm looking forward to it.

The mastering guide is good too, though less technical and more simple. It's really good for people like me who has unconnected knowledge of this topic.

And btw, I don't know how Ozone sounds, but the user interface looks very well thought, much better than most of the plugins I saw in the past. The history list looks great, the realtime graphics against your eq curves too, and the fact that they don't use fancy graphics seems a great concept to me.
