good place to buy mxl 603's

I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a good place to buy a set of 603's. I am going to be doing solo guitar recording, so i need a stereo pair. I was looking alot online, but all the stereo sets come with shock mounts. I am probably going to be micing in an X-Y configuration, so wont the shock mounts get in the way, since one mic is directly underneath the other?


If X-Y micing will work with the shock mounts than i will just get that set. If that wont work let me know if there any places that sell stereo sets of 603's with just a mic stand clip instead of the shock mounts.

Only the tips of the mics, the capsules, are directly underneath each other. If the mics were pointed the same direction...well...yes, things would get in the way...but then you wouldn't have much of a stereo image, would you?
 
Good point. Dont know why i thought the shock mounts would get in the way. Guess i am gonna get the matched stereo pair with the shock mounts and the nice case. eight street music has a nice set for like two hundred bucks. Hopefully these mics will serve me will till i have enough money for a pair of KM 184's.
