Good Monitors = Good Mixes

i went to a friends home studio to mix something for him and he had a air of mackie hr624's and they were full of distortion igot a terrible mix
when i took the media back to my place i mixed on my behringers and it came out so much better
mackie for mixers not for moniters

Forget about budget? Impossible. If you were forgetting about budget you should have got at least ADAM S3's. :)

What the hell are you talking about??? You get distortion and you blame the monitors...... how do you think that makes ANY sense whatsoever???????? :rolleyes:
 
could it be you had everything red lining? sometimes turning down the volume does wonders.
