Gonna sell my stuff...2 Tascam 38's, Yamaha RM804 mixer, MRL tape, RMG911

Well, I think I have had a lot of fun with my machines, but I think I will let them go to afford me other musical toys.

I am more than likely to put these things on eBay, but being that all the information on this website is what helped me get my 38's in working or - I at least owe you folks first crack. So heres what I've got:

Tascam 38 - Fully working condition, new capstan belt, good heads, new NAB hubs. Manual included *includes the nameplate! lol

Tascam 38 - Works great, had the finicky channel card thing, but I haven't had any issues since I pulled the cards, but just want it to be known. Also has new capstan belt and good heads.

Both machines will include 8 channels of DBX DX-4D noise reduction, and remote.

x2 1/2" RMG SM911: one reel is brand new, the other has had 10 passes at most.

Yamaha RM804: Great little mixer, give it a google. Good condition, on fader has snapped off, but I have it - so if your good with glue, have at it. 8 channels, XLR inputs, direct out, tape returns, 4 buss, echo send, cool VU's :)

MRL Calibration Tape: 15 & 30ips 1/2"

Well, there you go! If someone wants to make an offer on the lot - please do, I can email pictures directly (I don't have time this morning to put any in here).
Other than that -make me a fair offer on whatever suits you! I worked hard getting the machines to the working condition, I just know someone here would appreciate that.

I will give you guys a week or so to let me know if you want anything here, then off to eBay.
Oh, I am getting an Apogee Duet 2 (be nice) so if anyone wants to work out a trade for one, let me know.

Damn, I'm from England so I think postage etc would rule me out...by the way I listened to some of your recordings, So Strange sounds quality!
 
Any bites on the 38s yet? I don't really need one, but it would be cool to have! :cool:
 
I've been mulling this over. I couldn't possibly offer what the 38s are worth, and I don't want to get into the whole ordeal of searching for affordable 1/2" tape. I have plenty of cassettes, UD-35, and LPR-35 for a few albums, so I'm going to stand pat.
 
I know it :( I held off as long as I could. Believe me, there was plenty of colorful language from my mouth tonight...
 
The current high bid on the perfect 38 is more than I would have been able to scrounge up. Looks like you'll get a decent price in a last-minute bidding frenzy on that!
 
did you sell the rm804? if not maybe we can make a deal!
