Regardless of perceived vs. actual quality or the presence or lack of logic, or what anybody in this thread would like to believe, the fact is for most people who buy certain products (sports cars, guitars e.g.) it DOES matter where they are made. That's why the markets are what they are.

) and though they are fine instruments, I find that after years and years of having them, I just don't care anymore. For me, (got that? It's just my opinion for what works for ME) I don't care at all about anything other than if the git plays good and sounds decent. Japan .. America ................ Korea ..... I've played great and I've played crap from all of them.
