Gen16 AE cymbals

I've dreamed about owning an electronic kit for a while now. To be able to record at night while the kids were sleeping would be a cool option. But the prices for decent kits were waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price range. Now these cymbals? Probably play and feel amazing. But the price means I'll never know. And that's on top of the drums, yet. Sigh.
 
Its an interesting concept... I wonder what they sound like just in person... they kind of look like pasta strainers! What kind of control is available in the DSP? It will be interesting to see how they get unveiled and I can't wait to get my sticks and ears on them!
