Hi all!
So I'm not too deep into recording, but I have landed some nice gear from people on craigslist, and I've got a few things laying around from past endeavors:
Mixer/Interface - Mackie Onyx 1640 with Firewire adapter installed (16 mic ins)
Interface - Lexicon IONIX (4 mic ins)
Mics:
Behringer XM8500 Cardoid
Electrovoice RE20
Behringer Xm1800S
Sure SM58
MLX V63M
Instruments:
Dean MLX w/ Behringer V-Tone GMX 110
Ovation Applause Acoustic/Electric
Yamaha PSRE413
I'd like to record my first album soon. I need it to be a very high quality demo, but it doesn't need to be exactly perfect. I'll be recording acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano/synth with my yamaha, singing and beat boxing. Style is alternative rock/pop/rap.
My question is: Will my gear be enough?
