Hi.
When my G5 dual 1.8G is at the studio, I often have this problem: the mouse quits controlling the cursor. This is a serious problem which requires a hard reboot, sometimes multiple hard reboots to fix. However, when I use the same computer at home, it doesn't seem to happen. At the studio, i have a pci expander with a MOTU 324 card and a Powercore pci card, and a Motu 828 firewire interface, AND a US428 (USB). I also have a single in/out usb midi interface connected. Although any of these could be the source of the problem, I suspect the US428 for two reasons. 1. The 428 has some other problems such as the midi interfaces built in to it are not reliable. This is a documented compatibility problem with Macs and/or Digital Performer, I can't remember which. 2. It uses the USB interface. Does anyone have a similar experience? Is there anybody out there? Hello?
Thanks!
Dan
