Paul, it must be the new job. Are you learning management-speak or something?

Maybe what you meant is you've never used more than one VMain on a particular project??

It's the killer combination of stupidity, memory loss, new job, and the fact that I know nothing about anything:rolleyes:

What I meant (although I had forgotten) was that I never use more than one VMain.

There are four things that your know/don't know:

1) Those things that you know you know
2) Those things that you know you don't know
3) Those things that you don't know you know
And
4) Those things that you don't know you don't know

My VMain stupidity falls into category 3).;) With a bit of 4) as well:rolleyes: :D

Thanks for the clarification Mike.;) :)

for delaying one track....(or all tracks on a Vmain)

I dunno if this will help you or not, but I found a plugin (A FREE one, no less!) There are a bunch of free plugins on this page:

http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio.htm

but the one I am talking about here is "Sample Slide" They describe it pretty well, but I use it for a use they don't mention, which is delaying one "side" of two (L+R) tracks to help fatten the stereo image. I use it in the fx bin on one track, and you have as precise control over how much to delay it as possible. All the way down to one sample at a time. I usually (right now, anyway) use this to do the delaying while the track is playing. Once I know how much I want to delay it (see pic), I guess I could delete the plugin from the fx bin, and drag it manually, but I have been lazy up till now.

I guess you could also use this plugin to try to hammer out some phase problems, but my skill level ain't there yet in general.

And while I am at it, if anyone understands what the "Bound" plugin on that same page does, could ya fill me in? I haven't got a clue...

Yeah, that's cool, NeuzGrouper... :) Sometime we forgot (and underestimate) the freebie power :D

i've got the DSPFX suite (not the one that comes with sonar2), and the delay plugin will only show up as mono (and un-pannable) if the sonar track is set to mono.

when i use the DSPFX delay, i set the milliseconds by putting the bpm into analogx's delay calculator.

but WAVES gives you the ability to set the BPMs and note duration in their delay plugin so there is no millisecond calculation.
