dobro Well-known member Dec 18, 2003 #2 Try this: in Cool Edit, click on Effects>Refresh Effects List. Cool Edit finds usable plugins that way. BTW, the effects you downloaded are Direct X, right? It gets slightly more complicated if your plugins are VST.
