FS: Motu 828mkII, 2 x M-Audio Solaris LDC's

Yes. Apparently it was such a massive widespread issue in the early stages of release that they felt it was in their best interest to do so.

I am not an 828 owner so I can't relate personally, but this is what I've been told by several 828 owners in the past.

As far as I know, they are still doing this as it was a product defect, but of course it would be well worth double checking just to be sure. As recently as a couple of months ago it was still the case though.

I was concerned about that too when I first got it, but according to one of Motu's support techs (i.e., take it for what it's worth) that was a problem with the early production runs and that the issue had been corrected well before mine was made.

Anyway, I haven't had any problems with the screen, and it's in great condition because it was just sitting in a rack. All the jacks on it are only lightly used, as I was using a DigiMax LT 8 channel preamp and running into the Motu via ADAT Lightpipe.

I can do $500 shipped. Do you want me to ship those two snakes along with it? I used them on a few occasions to lift the inserts from a mixer (just using the mixer's preamps) and run that into the Motu. I won't charge anything for them, I just don't have a use and doubt anyone would want to buy them separately.

I would prefer Paypal for the payment, but we can work out the details of that in PM or e-mail (mikedalton@satx.rr.com).

Glad to know the LED issue has hopefully been resolved.....

I have the cash at home....I can deposit it into Paypal or I can get a money order and mail it to you. The last several times I've used Paypal it has taken them almost a week to release the money, don't know why....but, either way is OK with me....just let me know.

Actually a money order would be great. You can send me a PM or an e-mail (mikedalton@satx.rr.com) to me for the address to send it to. As soon as I get the payment, I'll ship the Motu FedEx Ground, which usually takes 3-4 days but can be up to 5 in some cases.
