Up for sale is my Gibson Explorer. I just recently got this guitar...literally, 2 days ago. The guitar is incredibly balanced while standing and is comfortable playing while sitting. I was thrown by how balanced the guitar really is. I was also impressed by the ease of maneuverability across the fretboard. What is harder to reach on a traditional shaped or LP shaped guitar is crazy easy to reach on this guitar. The wife hates the shape so it's got to go. :D

It comes with the OHSC, has 496R and 500T pickups, Grover tuners, mirror pickguard and truss rod cover, and is setup for 11's. Not that it matters that much, but the strings are brand new. I played on them once for about 3 hours.

So, due to my selling this off so fast, I'm taking a hit on what I paid. Such is the life of a musician. That must be why we never have any money.

$900 plus shipping to the lower 48. In fact, I'll even split shipping with whoever snags it. It's just a great looking and playing guitar. PM me with questions or whatever.

if i might ask....why dont you just return it?
Because I didn't buy it off of a dealer.

For all those guessing, this guitar is ALL stock. Even the mirror pickguard is a Gibson stock item. It was a limited run in 2001 on the Gibson Explorer model before they started the new century edition...whatever that is. That's just what the Gibson rep told me when I called about the guitar.

He said:

2001 Model
Classic White
Chrome Hardware
Mirror Pickguard
