Dogman

Unkle Ticklefingers
SnakeDog and I have been working on a tune lately. It's kind of a wankfest, as we love to have fun. I am hoping True will be able to get some equipement set up soon, as she might do some vocals for it. We have a few versions right now, and this is the first one I have ready. A pretty basic, guitar driven tune. Still trying to get the mix right on the music, so any help would be appreciated.
Shades Of Grey

Thanks, and enjoy. :D

Cool DAWGS - wow those drums are cookin' ..... Like the WANKFEST that occurs in the early transition section :D The double leads in the middle blend together well too - good mix...heavy man..... :D

Thanks, man. The more wanking version is giving me some mixing fits, so probably won't be up until tomorrow. It has some killer guitar all teh way through it.
Guess I should mention, this is my first real attempt at drums using DFHS. MadAudio has mentioned if he has time, he might do some real drums for this. That would really help the tune, as some of the hits are pretty mechanical. but they are better than using my cheap drum machine.
Thanks.
Ed

I love your new setup man! The bass, guitar, vocals all sound great, very very heavy and very very Dogman. It was a pleasure jamming along, thanks man ;)

Dude, anytime, and all the time....

Very cool, Dogzz...Awesome guitar sounds all around, great riff and the best I've heard you sing. Love the guitar breaks, the leads go really well together. A few cool parts where things don't happen like I was expecting. The intro guitar riff starts fading out and it almost sounded like you guys were going into a different song and then it came back all together, very cool.

Hey, thanks Rami. Where you been? Haven't seen you all week.
Yeah, this was just a fun tune to do. True might take a stab at vocals, so I just hurried up to get the music in here. Hopefully you'll hear it soon in a totally different light.
Thanks dude.

I liked it too! Nice riffage!

One thing that may clear the beginning guitars is a small EQ dip around 120 Hz or so. It is peaking out when you muffle the strings.

Other than that miniscule detail, thats all I got!

Great job dude!

Thanks, Mang. Listening to your latest right now. I'll go there and comment.

Naka, gbav, thanks guys. Appreciate it. Still trying to fix the drums, but they are getting there. And the other version should be cool. Now hopefully, True will get some stuff set up to help soon.... :D

Great, guys, I love it!!!

I dig the fade at the beginning--it's sort of one of those things that shouldn't really work, but it does.

Is the rhythm guit your trick of putting the lowest 6 of a 7-string set on your 6-string? Sounds !$%@^@& huge!!!! Like if I turned it up any louder, I'd be crushed by it!!!

I like the drum rhythms as well, not always the standard boom-bap-boom-bap. Did you program/sequence those yourself Dogman? Very cool.

Hey, thanks man. Yeah, the guitar is low B. Also, there are 2 direct, and 2 mic'd guitars. And, my sweet new bass. :D
And, yes, drums are DFHS, and I did the programming. My first real try at it. I need to work on it more. Pretty hard figureing stuff out when you've never even whacked on a drum.

Hey, cool song here. I really like the lead guitar all over this thing.

Them thar geetars is heavy as shit! A whole, whole bunch of shit in a bag so as to be very, very heavy! Haha, I mean that in a good way just in case it didn't sound like it. :D
Cool stuff Dogman and Snakedog, and cool lead guitar as well.
DFHS is coming along nicely!

By the way guys, sorry I don't get to listen to everybody's tracks so much these days. I've got alot more going on at work lately, and I can't rock out to the MP3 clinic as much as I used to :( But, I'll still sneak a listen every now and then.

Later!

I like the guitar work a ton. I think you could work with the kick and snare a bit to beef them up and clear out some of the "room" sound, but I pretty much suck at that, lol.

Well done

Hey, thanks, man. Yeah, trying to get back into things after such a long layoff, and all teh technology changed so much in teh 15 years I was gone... Damn fun though. This programming drums is actually very hard. Makes me wish I had bought a kit 20 years ago, and leaened how to play.
Thanks for the input man, appreciate it.

Thanks, Chris. All the cool wanking is SnakeDog. I figured he could liven this tune up a bit. The drums need a lot of work, as this is all new to me. Thanks for the input. Gives me some ideas to try and work on.
