Free Sites???

Need some info on sites to post free Music samples,demo songs,etc...Most of our rehearsal material is over 30mb in MP3 format...Thank you...I am really looking to post material recorded with the MR8...Totally amazing sound quality,even with only 2 mics in a 4 person setting,live...Great tool...

Soundclick.com is a really great free site, but they have a 10mb per song limit unless you sign up as a paying VIP member, then it's a 40 mb limit.
 
30 MB in mp3 format? What length files are we talking here? At 128/44.1 (decent quality), that's about 1MB per minute!

I think he meant all his songs were 30 mb total.

I don't know if it's geared towards music paged but i use freewebs.com. they offer around 50 mb storage which is enough for a few songs and what not.
 
If you are serious about doing the music thing, you should just spring for webspace. For less than $10 a month, you can get plenty of storage and bandwidth to host samples.

Although $10/mo may sound like a lot, if that helps you sell one extra cd a month, then it's all worth it!
 
If you are referring to bit rate,,,then the mp3 files are 256kps...Most are between 15mb and 40 mb in SIZE....
 
We do have a website,,,but it needs to be updated and I do not have access to the page as a "webmaster"... A friend of ours maintains it...I'm just anxious to put a few ideas up...
