Free Mastering/Mixing Software?

Hello
I am looking for any free downloads (if it's available) that would allow me to master tracks from my 4 track to my brother's CD burner, or a 2 track tape deck. Can anyone help? Thanks

try CoolEdit '96. I think they still have a free download of it at Hit Squad .com

... or for a few bucks you could get the updated version and all the extras that go with it.
